Subject: With Brexit scheduled for 29 March 2019, UK businesses face the daunting task of scrutinising supply chains and preparing for customs duty. While the shape of Brexit is still unknown, Dan Hobbs from MHA Carpenter Box will discuss how to undertake a review of your current supplier network to minimise the risks Brexit presents. We will also hear from Nicola Billen of asb law who will be providing an informative overview of contract law, including managing risks, negotiating common problem areas and situations to avoid.

Dan is a Client Service Director within the firm’s Tax Services Group and has a very broad range of experience, advising businesses and their owners for over 15 years. Dan’s principal areas of expertise include specialist VAT planning and advice, Corporate taxes and HMRC enquiries and dispute resolution.

Nicola is a highly experienced business lawyer, having spent many years as a commercial litigator handling a wide range of disputes. She has also worked in-house internationally so fully understands the needs and risks that businesses face each day.

The presentations will be followed by a 90 minute tour of the Rolls-Royce factory.
